I am a lecturer in philosophy at Queen’s University Belfast.

I primarily work on late 19th and early 20th-century philosophy in France and Britain. I am particularly interested in questions around time, free will, and religion.

I previously held appointments at Durham University and the University of St Andrews. I did my MA at the University of Aberdeen and my MPhil and PhD at the University of Cambridge. I also spent a year at the École normale supérieure in Paris as part of my doctorate.

I’m Czech.
